Soul Medicine for a Fractured World (an update on the book)
Healing Conversations from the Front Lines of Activism
Dear Friends, I greet you with deep care in these times of so much suffering. I hope you are able to access spaces of connection to whatever gives you breath and strength… to whatever brings you moments of joy.
This month, for the first time since beginning this blog more than a year and a half ago, I am not presenting my regular monthly interview. As some of you know, I have been working on a book for the last four years, and it will be published by Orbis Books before the end of 2025! Currently I’m on a deadline, navigating final edits to the manuscript.
The full title of the book is Soul Medicine for a Fractured World: Healing, Justice, and the Path of Wholeness. It is intended as an offering for these times, and I truly hope you will find it of value. I’ve been sharing bits and pieces of the project with you in my Reflections posts, the first Sunday of each month.
I remain ever-grateful to you for reading this blog, and I delight in your comments, restacks, and engagement. (I reply to every comment!) I’ll be back in June (hopefully) on my regular schedule. Thank you for your understanding. Meanwhile, please peruse the archive of past interviews—there are some real gems! May they nourish and inspire you.
In peace,
Liza
PS: The photo above, taken by Vaschelle Andre’, is me in the garden where I do much of my writing. This little patch of healing Earth is what allows me to live in a city and—most of the time—keep my balance. I am thankful for it every single day.
